Furthermore, his contributions extend beyond his expertise in the private sector. In the public sector, he has shaped several laws, policies, and reforms in areas such as energy, urban development, taxes, and health, among others.
Alfonso Rodriguez, CPA
Alfonso Rodríguez is a Certified Public Accountant and the founder of Virtus Advisory LLC, a boutique tax advisory and consulting firm. He began his career in tax at PwC in Los Angeles, where he worked with clients across various industries and developed a strong foundation in U.S. federal and state tax matters.
In addition to his tax expertise, Alfonso has ample experience in the audit field, giving him a well-rounded perspective on financial reporting, compliance, and risk management.
Now based in Puerto Rico, Alfonso specializes in Act 60 incentives, tax preparation, and strategic tax planning, with extensive knowledge of both Federal and Puerto Rico tax systems. He is dedicated to helping individuals and businesses navigate complex cross-jurisdictional tax environments with clarity and confidence.
Nelson Barragan, RIA
Nelson Barragán is the founder and principal financial advisor at Intuitivo LLC, with more than six years of experience in the investment and finance industry. Nelson has held positions at Omega Overseas Investments, San Juan Asset Management, and the Department of Economic Development.
